The European Student Convention is an annual event for students following the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. Students have the opportunity to participate in a large variety of events (music, speech, drama, art & design, Photography and sport) during the day and attend rallies in the evenings. The Convention allows students to discover and develop their God-given gifts. It is a time of fellowship with students, teachers and parents from around Europe, and a time of encouragement and inspiration at the rallies. The European Student Convention is an event not to be missed!
Who can attend the ESC?
Any student who has reached 12 years old by December 31st the year before Convention and who is not more than 19 years old by that date, is eligible to take part in Convention provided that they are being educated using the ACE curriculum in a Christian school or in a Homeschool. Participating students must have an adult (sponsor) responsible for them at all times whilst at Convention. Each sponsor can be responsible for no more than 8 (eight) students and must be the same gender as the students in their group. The exception to this rule is in the case of Homeschool's, where parents can sponsor their children regardless of gender. Others can attend in various roles, from Judges through to Visitors, but they must agree to abide by the Convention Guidelines throughout their time at Convention.

When is the ESC?
The European Student Convention is currently held at the beginning of July and runs from Sunday afternoon to Thursday afternoon. No events take place on Sunday, only registration. On the final day of Convention, we all move to an International Athletics Stadium in nearby Wrexham for all the athletic and track events. This for many is the highlight of Convention. The Convention finishes on the final day following the closing rally.
Where is the ESC held?
The European Student Convention is currently held each year at the picturesque Quinta Conference Centre in Shropshire. CEE takes over all the buildings (except for offices used by other organisations) and grounds. Accommodation is available in the main building as well as in various lodges at Quinta and camping pitches for both tents and caravans. A catering firm is hired and meals can be booked for those who are camping as well as for those accommodated within the main building and lodges.

Convention started with a very successful opening rally which you can watch if you click on the link on the centre of this page.

George Hargreaves was the guest speaker and we had an early entry Command Performance Powerpoint by Rebecca Taylor. Arthur Roderick gave us a CEE on a mission report in keeping of the convention theme 'Servant on a Misssion'. Come back each day to watch the rallies.
